Here's an explanation of the ranks used at this forum:

Special Ranks:

Empress: Site owner and Super Administrator

King and Queen: Site Administrators & Forum Moderators

Crown Prince/Crown Princess: Forum Moderators

Grand Duke/Duchess: Regular forum contributors who have demonstrated a lot of knowledge about one or more monarchies and excellent forum behavior. Grand Dukes/Duchesses can nominate other posters for special ranks

Duke/Duchess: Posters who have demonstrated that they are knowledgeable about one or more monarchies and good forum behavior

Earl/Countess: Posters who have demonstrated that they are knowledgeable about one or more monarchies and good forum behavior and who might be considered for Duke/Duchess

Ranks based on number of posts:

Baron/Baroness: Posters with 1000+ posts (or people who came from the old forum with this rank)

Knight/Dame: Posters with 500+ posts (or people who came from the old forum with this rank)

Lady in Waiting/Squire: Posters with 100+ posts (or people who came from the old forum with this rank)

New at Court: New posters

In the Tower: Posters who don't stick to the rules will be placed in the tower and given a warning

Exiled: Poster whose account is disabled for bad behaviour, but who might be allowed back if they promise to behave themselves

Banned from Court: Poster whose account is disabled and who will not be considered for a return to court
