It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our longtime members, Cindy Ritter, on April 6, 2015.  Many of us here at Unofficial Royalty remember here well from our former website.  While Cindy didn’t participate as much here, many of us enjoyed keeping up with her via Facebook.  Cindy especially loved discussing and learning about the Tudors.  We will miss you, Cindy.  Rest in peace.

Messages to her family may be left at her online obituary.

I am very sad to hear that Cindy has passed away. Many of us will remember her well from the old Etoile Royal Forum. She was one of the first people to welcome me to that forum.

As Susan stated she was a big Tudor fan. She was also a fan of Princess Grace, Diana, Princess of Wales, Sarah, Duchess of York and the Spanish royals.

She always saw the good, the positive in people. She was a true champion of the underdog.

I remember her participating in some wonderful, humourous, sometimes heated debates about Sarah, Diana and Edward VIII, to name a few.

It was a privilege to have known her.

Rest in peace, lovely Cindy.

Sad news indeed!  What was her name on the forum?  I tend to remember that name better.
