December 5, 1560 – Death of King François II of France, first husband of Mary, Queen of Scots, at Orléans, France; buried at the Basilica of St. Denis in Paris, France

December 5, 1671 – Death of Catherine Stuart, daughter of the future King James II of England, at St. James Palace in London, England; buried at Westminster Abbey in London, England
Little Catherine was the fourth daughter of James and his first wife Lady Anne Hyde.  Their two surviving daughters grew up to be Queen Mary II and Queen Anne.  Catherine died at the age of 10 months and was buried in Westminster Abbey without ceremony.  Her mother had died when Catherine was only seven weeks old.
